Project Description

Grade separation of the existing at grade roundabout at the Hobart Airport.

Benefits

The project will improve safety for cross-traffic movements, reduce traffic delays, improve access to Hobart Airport and improve travel times along the Tasman Highway.

Funding

The estimated cost of the project is $30 million.  The Australian Government is contributing $24 million and the Tasmanian Government $6 million.

Timetable

Construction is expected to commence in late 2019 and be completed in late 2021.
