Project Description

Construct a new road through the Legana town centre from Freshwater Point Road and Brigalow Street to Fulton Street.

Benefits

The benefits of this project will be improved safety and improved access for road users.

Funding

The estimated cost of the project is $4.53 million. The Australian Government is contributing $2.8 million and the West Tamar Council $1.73 million.

Timetable

Construction is expected to commence in early 2018 and be completed in late 2019.
