The project involves the replacement of three timber bridges in the St Marys region and one timber bridge at Upper Scamander.
The benefits of this project will be improved safety, increased load capacity for the new bridge, improved freight efficiency and reduced maintenance costs.
The estimated cost of the project is $665,000. The Australian Government is contributing $300,000 and the Break O'Day Council $365,000.
Project commenced construction on 1 May 2017 and is planned to be completed in mid 2018.
