There are a number of problems being addressed. The timber guard rails are rotten, the old road surface is worn and has some cracking.
Abutment walls are being displaced
The guard rails are to be replaced, removal of the old asphalt surface and a new asphalt overlay
as well as deck repairs. The retaining or abutment walls will also be repaired.
The cost is indicative, the work is being conducted by Main Roads WA and will be performed under a tender
that is expected to be awarded by February 20 2017. The cost will not be known until then.
Total cost of proposed project is $120,000
