Project Description

The existing alignment of the road is not compliant with the Australian Standards and includes tight bends posing acute risk to vehicular traffic. Also the surface condition of pavement is in a poor state of repair which requires rehabilitation and reconstruction of the pavement.

Re-alignment of the 200 m long Road section including reconstruction of existing pavement replacing 200 mm of sub-base DGS 40 and 120 mm of base material DGB 20 with 14/7 two coat seal on top of a primer seal. The width of the treated road pavement is 9 m carriage way.
