Project Description

The project will construct a road bridge over Corhanwarrabul Creek connecting the two ends of Henderson Road in Rowville.

Benefits

The project is expected to improve the connection between Rowville and Knoxfield, reduce general traffic congestion in the area, and improve travel time and operatings costs for local businesses.

Funding

The estimated cost of the project is $4.57 million.  The Australian Government contribution is capped at $4.5 million.  Knox City Council is contributing $75,000 to the project.

Timetable

The project is expected to commence in early 2019 and be completed in late 2019.
