Project Description

The project will upgrade the Monaro Highway from the Princes Highway at Cann River to the NSW border, including constructing a roundabout and vehicle pullover bays, and upgrading bridges and rehabilitating pavement.


The project is expected to improve safety and efficiency for all road users.


The estimated cost of the project is $10 million. The Australian and Victorian Governments are each contributing $5 million.


Construction is expected to commence in early 2018 and be completed in early 2021.
