Kinmond Creek Road is prone to flooding - not practical to raise the road level high enough to provide flood free access for major floods
Replace deteriorating helcoil culverts with new concrete box culverts to allow flood free road conditions - existing road will have to be reconstructed.
At Sandy Creek 2 x 2100 diameter and 2 x 2250 diameter helcoil culverts will be replaced with 6 x 3000 x 2400 box culverts.
At Eastern Creek 2 x 2100 helcoil culverts will be replaced with 3 x 2700 x 2700 box culverts.
The road will be raised to RL 13.0 other than RL 12.85 at floodways at Sandy Creek and Eastern Creek.
Start point 0.04km and finish point 0.73km from intersection of Kinmond Creek Road and Cootharaba Road, Cootharabra
Total cost of proposed project is $2,242,304
