Project Description

Correction of road defect: shoving, the existing road surface has developed serious defects that present a hazard to cyclists and pedestrian traffic. This section of the road is a primary crossing point for the local community accessing the shopping precinct from the carpark. Barrack Street is the main street of Merredin CBD. The shire has recieved compliants and reports of tripping by some elderley residents because of the height of the shoving defect.

Remove the existing top road surface and replace with a dense graded asphalt.(Mill and overlay)
