Unsealed road which has to accommodate heavy traffic consisting of Cattle trucks and tourists (caravans). The constant damage to the road affects formation and drainage which has resulted in regular traffic incidents and complaints due to the condition of the road. this road is maintained twice a year by Etheridge Shire Council for the Department of Transport and Main Roads. Sealing of the road will reduce accident risk for the public and tourists using the road and will facilitate access for Forsayth & Einasleigh Townships and the stations between Georgetown and The Lynd.
Design, forming and sealing of the existing road between chainage15.80 Kilometres to chainage20.95 Kilometres.
Total cost of proposed project is $3,666,575
