Project Description

Construction of a high level bridge and a new road alignment at Saltwater Creek crossing. The upgrade of four existing sections of road north of Saltwater Creek between Aldershot and Torbanlea to improve flood immunity.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed up to $82.4 million towards the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.

Timetable

Planning is expected to commence late 2018. Construction is expected to commence June 2020 and be completed in August 2021, weather permitting.
