Project Description

The installation of additional drainage structures under the highway to improve the highway's flood immunity wand avoid flood damage creating by afflux.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed up to $8.8 million towards the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.

Timetable

Planning is expected to commence in mid 2019. Construction is due to commence in early 2020 and be completed in late 2021, weather permitting.
