Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Fitzgerald Road (Rural Road) - 110048-20SA-RTR

Due to worn trafficable surface caused by continuous vehicle usage, surface has become rough and slippery when wet.To re-sheet 2 kilometres using crushed limestone rubble. Side drainage where required.
Park Lane, Smithton - 110050-20TAS-RTR
Road pavement is significantly deformed, road seal is significantly broken and stormwater drainage is inadequateIt is proposed to replace the pavement, upgrade stormwater infrastructure and provide new hotmix seal
Back Cullen Bullen Road, Portland - 110052-20NSW-RTR
Road is currently unsealed and deteriorates quickly. Potholing and rutting are of predominant concern, with poor roadside drainage and significant overhanging tree canopy contributing to these defects.Pavement reconstruction and application of a 20/10 two-coat bitumen seal for a length of 3 kilometres. Roadside vegetation control will also occur alongside repair and improvement of stormwater drainage infrastructure.
Long Street, Portland - 110054-20NSW-RTR
The existing bitumen seal has reached the end of its useable life. Apparent defects include significant potholing, crocodile cracking and edge breaks.The existing bitumen seal will be removed and the underlying pavement reconstructed alongside roadside drainage reconstruction. Once complete, a 14/7 two-coat bitumen seal will be applied for the 182 metre long and 6 metre wide length.
Thompson Street, Portland - 110055-20NSW-RTR
The bitumen seal has reached the end of its useable life. The defects are apparent as significant potholing, crocodile cracking and edge breaks.The existing bitumen seal will be removed and the underlying pavement reconstructed. Alongside this work, the adjacent roadside drainage will be repaired and overhanging vegetation reduced. Upon completion, a 14/7 two-coat bitumen seal will be applied by contractors.
West Street, Lithgow - 110057-20NSW-RTR
The existing asphalt seal has reached the end of its useable life, primarily resulting in significant surface defects such as potholing. Roadside kerb and gutter is also cracking and lifting, requiring replacement.Where defects are present, roadside concrete kerb and gutter will be replaced. The existing asphalt surface will be milled to a depth of 50mm and any underlying pavement defects repaired where they present. A 50mm AC14 asphalt seal will then be applied.
Pye's Creek Road (Rural) - 110062-20NSW-RTR
Deteriorated aging timber bridge requires replacement due to structural deficiencies.Replace timber bridge structure.
