Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Wheatbelt Timber Bridge Replacement
The project will replace low headroom small timber bridges with concrete culverts on Northam Cranbrook Road and Northam Pithara Road.
Currumbin Creek Road-Bienvenue Drive Intersection Upgrade
This project is expected to upgrade the intersection of Currumbin Creek Road and Bienvenue Drive in Currumbin Waters. 
Perth CBD Transport Plan
This investment will design and construct high quality active transport infrastructure that will provide safe and convenient access for cyclists and pedestrians in and around the Perth CBD. A key component of the investment is the Swan River Bridge project, that will deliver a new bridge across the Swan River for pedestrians and cyclists, located to the south-west of the existing Causeway Bridge. The new 6 metre wide pedestrian and cyclist bridge will provide safe, high-quality infrastructure that encourages more people to ride and walk to and from the city. The investment will also fund a series of active transport projects across the Perth CBD: Wittenoom Street Bike Lanes Bennett Street Bike Lanes Spring Street /Mounts Bay Road Bike Connection Aberdeen Street Bike Lanes Kings Park Road Shared Path Wellington Street Bike Lane Upgrade
Mt Lindesay Highway - Johanna Street to South Street
This project is expected to duplicate the Mt Lindesay Highway from two lanes to four lanes between the Johanna Street and South Street intersections in Jimboomba to meet future traffic demand.
Riverway Drive Stage 2 (Allambie Lane - Dunlop Street)
The project will upgrade Riverway Drive in Townsville between Allambie Lane and Dunlop Street. The project includes:- Safety upgrades on a 3.1-kilometre section between Allambie Lane and Dunlop Street- Duplication of a 1.6-kilometre section between Allambie Lane and Hammond Way- Three signalised intersections between Allambie Lane and Dunlop Street
Prospect Highway Upgrade
The project will upgrade a 3.6km section of the Prospect Highway between Reservoir Road, Prospect and St Martins Crescent, Blacktown to a four-lane divided carriageway, with the section north of Lancelot Street to be upgraded to a six-lane divided road, inclusive of two dedicated bus lanes, and improvements to 11 intersections along the route.
Sydney to Newcastle Faster Rail - Planning
The project will progress faster rail planning from Sydney to Newcastle. In 2019, the Australian and New South Wales Governments completed a strategic business case for the corridor that identified various faster rail options from incremental upgrades through to transformational investments. This project will accelerate planning and finalise the scope, cost, timing and delivery of priority faster rail projects from Sydney to Newcastle.
Strzelecki Track Upgrade - Sealing
The project will complete the sealing of the entire 472 kilometres of the Strzelecki Track in north-east South Australia, and deliver targeted floodway works and a major upgrade at Strzelecki Creek.
Alice Springs to Darwin Corridor - Maryvale Road Upgrade (Stage 1)
The project involves the upgrade of approximately 10km of Maryvale Road - between approximately chainages 10-20km - to a two lane sealed standard.
Obley Road (Rural Road) - 110597-20NSW-RTR
Current pipe culvert does not have capacity to manage storm water flows at this locationRemove existing pipe culvert and install large box culverts including associated earthwork and pavement works to lift level of the road.
