Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Skull Springs Road (Rural Road) - 110846-20WA-RTR
Long narrow single lane causeway is hazardous to motorists resulting in unsafe driving conditions particularly at night. The 5 Mile Creek Crossing Floodway has sustained extensive pavement damage as a result of heavy haulage traffic from mining companies. The concrete as broken up and large pieces of wire mesh is protruding from the crossing resulting in motorists sustaining tyre wall damage.Reconstruct the causeway to a 10 meter trafficable width including the installation of culverts, advisory signage and guideposts. Remove damaged concrete and protruding wire reinforcing mesh and replace with cement stabilised gravel.
Watervale Road, Watervale - 110811-20SA-RTR
The road surface is in poor condition and worn through to the subgrade in sections. It is very dusty in the drier months.The road will be reformed and re sheetedTotal cost of proposed project is $104,960
Spring Farm Road, Spring Farm - 110812-20SA-RTR
The sealed surface of the road has deteriorated and requires additional remediation works prior to being resealed. The additional works include the road segments being profiled and stabilised, then a two coat seal will be applied.Road segment in required areas will be profiled and stabilised, then a two cost seal appliedTotal cost of proposed project is $326,769
Tothill Belt Road, Tothill Creek - 110814-20SA-RTR

Lions Road (Rural Road) - 110647-20NSW-RTR

Hincks Avenue, Whyalla Norrie - 110872-20SA-RTR
Rutting noted across various sections causes a bumpy drive for road users. Some patch work beginning to subside, crocodile cracking present in various sections. Overall surface has poor sections which has community concerned.Renew surface with 40mm hotmix asphalt. Full profile to existing surface.Total cost of proposed project is $318,938
Barson Street, Whyalla - 110874-20SA-RTR
Surface has major deterioration, excessive crocodile cracking and has large areas of previous patchwork. Previous patches are aged making a bumpy drive for road users.Full plane and reinstatement of new 40mm hot mix asphalt. Localised areas of kerb and watertable patching will also be required.Total cost of proposed project is $219,183
South Ghoolendaadi Road (Rural Road) - 110877-20NSW-RTR
Strenghten pavement by adding 100mm overlay of crushed gravel due to black soil showing through the pavement. This will provide a stronger pavement for heavy vehicle access to adjoining rural propertiesOverlay payment with 100mm crushed gravel for a distance of 4.6km
Blackstump Way (Rural Sealed) - 110876-20NSW-RTR
Pavement is extremely misshapened and narrow due to edge break. This has been a result of the increased heavy vehicles using the road. This is a bus route which makes pulling off and on the road dangerous.Upgrade exisiting pavement 1.5km from the Finlay Road for a distance of 1km. Strengthen pavement by adding 100mm overlay, stablising overlay to depth of 200mm to provide a 9 metre wide pavement with bitumen seal
