Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Range Road (rural road) - 110833-20WA-RTR
Range Road is a major artery road and heavy traffic use causing corrigations in existing gravel and constantly blowing out causing dangerous driving conditions. This road is high traffic, major grain truck route and school bus route.Reconstruct and seal existing gravel road.Total cost of proposed project is $242,903
Ongerup-Pingrup Road (rural road) - 110834-20WA-RTR
Major blowouts that are being continuously repaired, these are caused by the clay sub base. This problem creates rough bituminous surface which is dangerous to road users. This road is high traffic, major grain truck route and school bus route.Lime stabilise sub base; fresh gravel sheet on top of sub base; cement stabilise pavement; improve drainage and reseal. Install signage and guideposts.
Beach Road, Cowell - 110867-20SA-RTR
unsealed surface is slippery when wet, dusty when dry and requires excessive maintenance. Tourists are reluctant to drive on the current surfaceconstruct base and apply 14/7 two coat spray sealTotal cost of proposed project is $400,000
Memorial Drive - 110921-20SA-RTR
Have had the bridge has been structually assessed and deemed to be approaching end of life Council has decided to have it replaced and road upgraded as it to has significant depressions that need to be corrected at the same time - this road will be removed and replaced with asphaltrehabilitation of the road and bridge by removing and replacing existing structures of both road and bridge
Moores Road (Rural Road) - 110922-20SA-RTR
Sand holes occur in summerRoad will be resheeted with road base at 150mm thick
Euroa-Strathbogie Road (Rural Road) - 110817-20VIC-RTR
The road pavement has deteriorated and shows signs of failure such as depressions, cracking and general roughness.The entire section of road pavement will be spray sealed and appropriately sized stones applied as per Councils maintenance protocols.

The Boundary Road North south bound traffic and the Charles Street north bound traffic lanes need to have the pavement strengthened to enable increasing heavy vehicle usage whilst preventing continuing damage.The Boundary Road North west and east approach to Charles Street as well as Charles Street will be rehabilitated then have an overlay of asphalt applied to the existing intersection as per Councils maintenance protocols.
