Targeted Road Safety Works

The Australian Government has announced a new $500 million Targeted Road Safety Works Program, which is one of the many ways the Australian Government continues to invest in road safety to move towards zero fatalities and serious injuries on our roads.

Funding will be available for projects on state or territory roads to improve road user safety that can be completed within 12 months, providing an immediate boost to the economy and local jobs.

This investment is part of the Australian Government's $100 billion, 10-year infrastructure pipeline, which is laying the foundations of a financial bridge to recovery on the other side of COVID-19.
