Project description

This project will widen the Bruce Highway from six lanes to eight lanes between Dohles Rocks Road to Anzac Avenue and enable on and off ramps at the southern end to be built.

Benefits

This project will help to improve road safety for all road users, reduce congestion and improved connectivity between people with jobs and services, and goods with markets.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed up to $200 million towards the project, to be funded on an 80:20 basis, with the Queensland Government. 

Timetable

The delivery schedule will be determined in consultation with the Queensland Government.
