Project description

This project has realigned the Western Highway at Nhill to increase the distance between the highway and nearby railway line.

Benefits

The project has improved safety for all road users, improved transport network efficiency and productivity.

Funding

The Australian Government has fully funded the project as part of the Roads of Strategic Importance Initative.

Construction commenced in early 2022 and was completed in September 2022.
