Project DescriptionThis section of Bolivar Road serves a developing residential area with some remaining semi-rural land use on the western side of Bolivar Road. Forecast traffic volumes indicate that the road will need to be upgraded in approx. 2009/10 or 2010/11.
A concept design commenced in late 2007/08 to determine extent of work proposed (and total project cost), which is likely to include road widening, kerb and gutter & associated drainage and street lighting. Construction currently proposed in 2009/10 subject to receiving Special Local Road Program funding. As well as the $20,707 allocated from the Supplementary Roads to Recovery Program, $30,000 has been allocated from the Supplementary Roads to Recovery Program.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,907,000 |
