Project Description

This project involved the construction of new rest areas, vehicle stopping places and audible edge lines between Curra and Sarina.

Benefits

The new rest areas will enhance safety for road users, especially heavy vehicle operators.

Funding

The Australian Government provided $18,653,000 to the project.

Timetable

Projects were progressively undertaken, with final works being completed in February 2016.
