Project DescriptionThe project involved the construction of new or upgraded rest areas, heavy vehicle stopping places and audible edge lines on the Warrego Highway. BenefitsThe new and upgraded rest areas will enhance safety for road users, especially heavy vehicle operators. FundingThe Australian Government provided $6 million to the project. TimetableConstruction commenced in November 2010 and was completed in June 2014. |
