Project DescriptionThe project involved works to widen and strengthen key sections of narrow and broken highway, replace old bitumen and widen culverts to improve the driving conditions. BenefitsThe project has improved safety on the Bruce Highway for all road users and enhanced transport efficiency. FundingThe Australian Government provided $72.6 million to these works. TimetableThe strengthening and widening works commenced in late 2010 and were completed in December 2016. |
