This section of the Colchester Road road surface is showing signs of deterioration, which is being exacerbated by the absence of kerb & channel and underground stormwater drainage infrastructure.
Construction of kerb & channel, footpath, and stormwater drainage infrastructure, and the renewal of the existing road pavement, to provide enhanced longevity for this section of Colchester Road. Yarra Ranges has committed to funding 50% of the project cost, due to this section of Colchester Road forming the boundary between municipalities.
Stage 1 Involves Construction of kerb & channel, stormwater drainage, vehicle crossings and some pavement renewal works.
Total cost of proposed project is $1,500,000
