Project DescriptionThe batter protection on the cutting faces have failed and material is being eroded from under the existing protection. There is potential for the cutting faces to slip and/or undermine residential properties constucted on top of the cuttings.
Remove the existing failed protection, excavate and remove the loose eroded material back to a solid base, install a layer of reinforcing mesh pinned to solid material and apply a sprayed concrete protection to current industry standards.
