Project DescriptionSealing of Old Adelaide Road which is currently an unsealed residential street. Due to the traffic volumes dust is a nuisance in this street and the sealing will address this issue. In addition, there is no formalized drainage system in place and due to the topography and catchment of the area an underground drainage system is being proposed.
Council is proposing to seal the 950m long section of Old Adelaide Road that is unsealed. The road will be constructed to a width of 7m and will include kerbing and guttering on both sides of the road. An underground drainage system will also be constructed including a stormwater catchment. Construction is being staged to match the yearly allocation of funds made available through the R2R program. |
