Project Description

The existing chip seal surface has deteriorated and pot holed. Recent commercial development has seen the need to open Barnard Street to through traffic and provide on street parking and traffic calming devices.

Re-open Barnard Street to through traffic, replace one hundred metres of kerbing and install two hundred and fifty metres of kerbing to define on Street parking. Asphalt seal entire Street including on street parking areas. Install two traffic calming devices and an adjoining footpath of fifty metres in length. Increase street drainage capacity by installing six soakwells within the road reserve. Install solar street lighting.
