Project DescriptionA considerable increase in activity has been observed in the Chinchilla and district area, associated with a rapid increase of the local population (gas & mining and power utility employees, with their families). As such, this intersection's current condition has been risk assessed as unsafe due to no turning or passing facilities, as well as the showgrounds' entrance being too close to the intersection.
Widen Zeller Street and Gaske Lane at the intersections, put in turning and passing lanes around the intersections, and moving the entrance of the showgrounds away from the intersection
Total cost of proposed project is $650,000 |
