Project Description

Problems being adressed is the poor roadside drainage and rutting and shifting of the road surface and the loss of gravel surface which contributes to the poor wearing surface.

Works proposed to be undertaken for this project is to seal 1700m of the road, which will complete the missing link between two sealed sections of road. This will involve drainage improvments and importing, spreading, shaping and compacting gravel and applying a bituminous seal to the 1700m of the newly formed road pavement.
