Project DescriptionLue Road is a widely used alternative route between the townships of Mudgee and Rylstone. The road is being upgraded slowly as it is narrow, windy and has multiple pavement failures along it’s length. The section to be upgraded is narrow and runs through a heavily wooded area. The pavement is in particularly bad condition with shoves and potholes and the drainage is poor.
It is proposed that the road pavement be fully rehabilitated and widened. Tree and vegetation would be cleared to allow for the widening with sufficient space for shoulders and drainage. Works would include surfacing, guidepost, signage and linemarking.
Total cost of proposed project is $293,417 |
