Project DescriptionAvoca Bealiba Road is a Rural Collector road where the existing concrete bridge, which is 16.7 metres long by 6.5 metres wide (5.7m beween kerbs), has deficient width to accommodate two vehicles passing on a two lane sealed road around a bend. The existing insitu major culverts have also deteriorated to a point requiring strenthening to meet current bridge load standards.
The existing bridge rails and kerbs on the existing insitu major culverts are to be removed to allow attachment of new bridge guardrail to provide a clear road width of 6.4 metres. The major culverts will be patched to meet current bridge loading standards and the new bridge will include approach guard rails to standard.
Total cost of proposed project is $60,000 |
