Project DescriptionThe floodways to be upgraded scour heavily after moderate flows and cause road closures. There are also significant maintenance costs associated with the re-instatement of these floodways.
The work will consist of excavating existing material and replacing with crushed rock, this will then be stabilised with cement and concrete toewalls will be constructed to prevent under-mining.
The floodways vary in length from 100 to 200 metres and will be 10 metres in width. |
