Project DescriptionA level 2 bridge inspection was completed in February 2011 and determined that there were a number of the structural elements of the timber bridge in a poor condition. It was recommended that repair of these structural timber elements be carried out due to their poor condition, loss of structural integrity and strength and to avoid the risk of catastrophic collapse.
Carry out temporary repair of the approach road pavement and replace piles and headstocks to make bridge accessibles and safe, with a load limit of 10 tonne, until major works can be undertaken.
Total cost of proposed project is $83,700 |
