Project Descriptionat this location there is a fairly difficult natural earth gully crossing which has regularly denied access to travellers and locals. also there is a considerable number of cattle being transported be it for agistment or for sale. the denial of access does have a reasonable effect on the local economy mainly "beef". Council has previously constructed similar causeways on the subject road under a capex at Ch22.95 and ch 20.85
a reinfoced concrete causeway 60m in length, 6m in width and 1500 in depth with a single layer of reinforced steel including toe walls. the approaches will also be addressed. |
