Project DescriptionThis is a long stretch of road on which speeding by young and older drivers ocurrs. Ambrose Street also leads to Purkiss Reserve, the town's main sporting facility which is utilesed extensively by all residents. The potential for either a vehicle or vehicle / pedestrian accident to ocurr goes without question. The installation of traffic calming devices will reduce, if not eliminate speeding on Ambrose Street.
Installation of a 9 metre round'a'bout at the intersection of Ambrose and Stuart Streets. |
