Project DescriptionGore Street in the Orford township currently has a narrow bitumen seal with no kerbing. It has residential housing on both sides. Due to a lack of kerbing, stormwater infrastructure utilising existing roadside open drains are difficult to manage. The existing road formation has been failing for a number of years due to the lack of pavement material.
It is proposed to undertake full reconstruction works to the 270 metre section, including overall road widening to 7.50 metres, concrete kerb and gutter both sides and bitumen sealed. Stormwater will be addressed with the installation of new pits to discharge into an adjacent system.
Total cost of proposed project is $161,998 |
