The existing road surface is made up principally of loose sand and clay based material and is slippery when wet.
In an effort to rectify this problem, it is proposed to carry out a gravel Sheeting program on this road. This work involves importing of gravel from designated gravel pits and improving the road surface drainage in an effort to provide an all weather road. Included in the works will be some minor corner realignments and lower of a crest to improve sight distance. Progect length 2.1 kilometres.
Total cost of proposed project is $164,662
