Project DescriptionThe project has provided three lanes in each direction on the Brooker Highway from Elwick Road to Howard Road. The project has also realigned and signalised the intersection of Elwick Road and Goodwood Road and signalised the intersection at Howard Road. BenefitsThe project is expected to ease congestion and improve traffic flow. FundingThe cost of the project is $32,806,382. The Australian Government is contributing $26,245,106 and the Tasmanian Government $6,561,276. TimetableConstruction commenced on 21 January 2016 and was completed on 26 May 2017. |
