Project DescriptionBooborowie Road is a major commodity route running north/south in a heavy cropped agricultural area. The road requires upgrading to a more suitable geometric standard, drainage problems resolved and the requirement to accommodate increased heavy vehicle movements during harvest periods.
Completion of intersection redesign Leighton Road/Booborowie Road and drainage infrastructure along the 8km route. The road will be re designed and constructed to satisfactory horizontal and vertical alignment to a sub base level. Work is nearing completion (July 2013)of the first 6km (Leighton Road North) with this further 8km completing the entire length of this road from the Spalding-Burra Road to Gum Creek Road |
