Project DescriptionThe road is badly deformed by wheel rutting with extensive areas of pavement failure and seal cracking.
The existing pavement will be excavated to a depth of 150mm, the existing sub-base and sub-grade will be chemically stablised to a thickness of 300mm then a new 150mm thick gravel base layer will be constructed and a 2 coat hot bitumen seal applied.
