This project will upgrade five sections of the Arnhem Link Road across three separate packages of works. Works to be delivered include, sealing over 2km of road and flood immunity works such as the installation of drainage culverts and concrete causeways.
Improve access to communities, supporting tourism, the cattle and resources sector as well as improving the economic opportunities in regional and remote areas.
The Australian Government contribution is capped at $9 million towards this project.
Construction is expected to commence in mid 2022 and be completed by mid 2023.
