Project DescriptionThe existing road has a narrow gravel pavement and poor sight distance, it requires high maintenance and has dust concerns for adjoining residents. This is the fourth section of a project that will progressively widen and upgrade the entire road from a gravel to a sealed standard.
Widen the existing 5 metre gravel road to a 8 metre pavement with a 7 metre bitument sprayed seal. Remove vegetation and cut down roadside ground levels around bends to further improve driver visibility. The upgraded road will generally follow the existing centreline aligment. |
