Project DescriptionThe project involved an upgrade of the Kirrama Range Road including the replacement of ten bridges, drainage works and road reconstruction. BenefitsThe project enabled the opening of the road to benefit tourism, traditional owners and local cattle station owners. FundingThe Australian Government provided $1 million to the project, in partnership with the Queensland Government and the Cassowary Coast Regional Council. TimetableConstruction commenced in December 2013 and was completed in December 2014. |
