Project DescriptionThis bridge on Bakers Beach Road over Kermode Creek is currently timber. The abutments, beams, decking and rails are worn and rotting. It is Councils highest priority listed bridge for replacement. This brigdge provides the primary access to a national park, rural residential properties, quarrying activity and farmland.
Replace the current timber bridge with a new concrete structure conmplying with current Australian Standards. The cross sectional area for water passing under the bridge will be increased to reduce the chance of the the bridge becoming impassable.
