Project DescriptionThe Transport Authority has established a primary bus route from the Canning Bridge train station Como through the suburb of Manning to Curtin University and the bus transit station on Campus with part of the route on Griffin Crescent that is only 5.5 metres wide for half its length and 6.5 metres for the balance and as a bus route needs to be widened to 7.5 metres but excludes any works to the roundabout at Challenger Avenue.
Widen the existing road pavement to 7.5 metres and rekerb on new alignment. Prepare existing surface to receive final wearing surface and apply Stone mastic Asphalt full width to minimsise the ongoing affect of pre-existing and localised "block cracking".
Total cost of proposed project is $212,223 |
