Project Description

Existing wearing surface and pavement failed over the full width of the road, poor amenity and hazard for road users. On bus route for last 10 years which has resulted in greater loadings on pavement and accelerated failure. Moreover, a lack of adequate subsoil drainage combined with road surface level being natural surface has likely resulted in water ingress and pavement failure.

Full pavement box-out (length of approx 90m), associated with sub-soil drainage install behind kerb and channel on both sides of road. Replace section of kerb and channel, upgarde stormwater pits and driveway crossover if required.
