Project DescriptionThere are three issues being addressed as part of this project. The first is the road surface which has substantially deteriorated and is well past its useful life, the second is poor drainage with Cartledge Avenue experiencing localised flooding particularly at the intersection of Cartledge Avenue and Barrie Robran Gate and the adjacent residential properties. Thirdly Cartledge Avenue from Heurich Terrace to Racecourse Road does not have any kerb and water table or footpath.
Work to be undertaken includes the construction of kerb and water table along Cartledge Avenue and installation of side entry pits and underground stormwater drainage to connect to the existing system along Racecourse Road (ASR Site). Reconstruct and reseal to strength base and renew surface. Install footpaths along Cartledge Avenue frontage of residential estate and introduce roundabout treatments at intersections of Heurich Terrace and Ekblom Street.
Total cost of proposed project is $275,504 |
