Project Description

Miller Street is the main street of Gilgandra and is also the Castlereagh Highway, managed by the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS). The RMS has programmed to re-asphalt the pavement stopping at the fog line (their boundary), Council is responsible for the remaining shoulder, which is starting to break up and is in disrepair , so Council proposes to re-asphalt the first 350m and to bitumen seal the remaining 530m a total of 880m.

Carry our surface corrections where needed then asphalt to a thickness of 40mm for 350m then bitumen seal 530m with 14mm stone.
