Project DescriptionThe Balumbah-Kinnard road (rural road)is a road train and B-Double route and the existing gravel surface is not suitable for heavy vehicle traffic and regular road users alike. The increase of heavy vehicle traffic has this road deteriorating at an increased rate and at times dangerous for road users.
This project will be reconstructing the existing gravel road to 11 metre wide formation with a 8 metre two coat seal (14/7 millimetre aggregate).This project will be surveyed and designed to specifications to improve sight distance and gradients thus improving heavy vehicle traffic.Bitumizing will reduce dust ,improving road users safety
