Project DescriptionThe road pavement has failed and cracked in the east bound and west bound traffic lanes. The drainage for the road is satisfactory and will not be altered.
The proposal is to remove the cracked areas of road pavement to a predetermined design depth and replace with assphalt. Commercial Street East carries very high traffic volumes (it is the highest trafficked road in the City) and it imperative that the works are carried out quickly and with minimum delays. The new aspalt will strenghten the road pavement and also provide a long lasting and smooth surface for traffic. |
